Co-written by Copyright collaborator Donae O, Take Me Away is the perfect marriage of dark, twisted production and beautifully soulful vocals, a tricky undertaking the original remix pulls off with aplomb. Recently hailed as Future Stars by Radio 1s dance music tastemaker Pete Tong, the ascent of Ryan Ellis and Lewis Wright, collectively known as No Artificial Colours, in just a few short years has been sharp. Their remix incorporates bubbling bass notes, and springy percussion tipped with prominent claps while the Dub version goes even deeper, chopping Romero’s vocals into pieces and sprinkling them back over sharp hats and deep, pulsing bass.
