It’s been nothing but success for UK duo Ben Webb and Chris Jordan as they continue to release floor fillers which impress the world. KORT have made a name for themselves upon winning the prestigious Defected producer competition 2011 with their track ‘Tomorrow’ and since then have had BBC Radio 1 plays and also seen repeated Traxsource number one and top 10 chart positions.‘The Smoke’ is a production which constantly builds and drops making it exciting and packed full of energy. Fuelled by punchy snares and a groovy bassline, the Original Mix is built for sending high volts of electricity through dance floors thanks to its chilling vocal samples, spacey synths and that little bit of cowbell. On the other hand their Heads Up Mix is composed with much the same ingredients but has been reassembled to create a more minimal and ambient construction in comparison to its sibling version due to its deep and heavy hook and enchanting breakdowns.
