Faux Poly welcome Nottingham-based producer Jack Wright aka Croft to the label family with his latest offering 'Worktops,' a set of heavyweight club tools spanning Techno, Electro and Bass. 'Popchips' is a swampy slice of minimal techno that serves as the first single from the release.
Having previously released on Scuffed Recordings, Left Right & Centre & MNSHN Records among others, Croft has carved out his sound by extracting unpredictable and undeniably unique melodies and grooves from generally atonal hardware experiments. The result is a beautifully leftfield, groove-focused EP that's rooted in Techno with traces of classic Electro mixed with a solid contemporary UK Bass sound.
