Luyo, the mastermind behind Double Records, introduces us to his newest project, Azouka, with a debut release that's as vibrant as the Caribbean island he calls home. Having grown up in Antigua, Luyo's musical DNA is steeped in the rhythmic pulse of zouk and soca, and with "Panafrica", he brings those influences to the forefront.

Built around a sample from the '80s UK band African Connexion, who have roots in Zaire, Ghana, and Sierra Leone, "Panafrica" radiates pure party energy. The brass section is infectious, the uplifting rhythms invite movement, and the entire track oozes a celebration of Afro-Latin and Caribbean culture. It's a track that blurs the line between heritage and modern dancefloor heat, making it a standout anthem for any summer set.

Azouka is a project to keep your ears on—if this release is any indication, Luyo's tapping into something both nostalgic and fresh, with global appeal.
