School's story is a rollercoaster ride through French electronic music history. Born from the chance meeting of Stephane B and Guillaume A in early 2000s Paris, they burst onto the scene with "Ain't No Love," a genre-defying electro-funk-house banger featuring the early Many Hoffman on vocals and remixed by the legendary Larry Heard.
But it was Guillaume's alter ego, The Supermen Lovers, that skyrocketed him to fame with the summer 2001 smash hit "Starlight." The weight of this success led to School's hiatus, but Stephane wasn't done yet. He resurrected the project with "If," a sun-soaked dance track that promised a new beginning.
Now, two decades later, "If" is back and better than ever. Cyclo Records presents this lost gem of the French Touch era, complete with fresh remixes from Youssef & Mark Blackkat Bell and the in-house duo "Players." It's a nostalgic trip with a modern twist, guaranteed to ignite dancefloors all over again.
