Deep, hypnotic, house grooves that tend to bring out emotions. Watch!

Returning once again to re-identify NYC’s late nightclub world, this epic installation proves to be a key milestone in the label’s discography. The EP begins with a cool drifting taste of modulated pads, rhythmic guitar and simple drum work. Highlighting a bit more of a funky disco groove, Atlantis is a liquid soul jam for the ages. The beat picks up with Count Down To Zero, as an uber progressive hypnotic loop track gets lost in the smooth key stabs. The tribal vibe picks up with Don’t Look Down, adding some more percussion, slow attack synth chords and crazy Rhodes melodies. Gabriel slows things down to a lazy dubbed-out house cut full of succulent strings, charismatic claps and middle-eastern harmonies. Great for the late-night club slot or an introspective headphone listen, this solid EP is a sure fire success! (Text by Praxis)
