Juicebox Music's 76th release sees Cloaked making his return to the label with his latest single - "1999". Better known to his friends and family as Andrew Field, Cloaked made his debut with Juicebox Music through "Samasya", his contribution to the 2nd edition of our 'Fables' compilation. With releases on Roger Martinez's 'Higher States', D-Formation's 'Beatfreak', Mango's 'Mango Alley' and Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', to name a few, the UK-based artist holds a formidable discography showcasing his aural vision, earning him some incredible support worldwide. For his latest offering - "1999", Cloaked dials into this magical year for dance music, capturing some of his best influences and inspirations of that time, from driving grooves with soaring leads to emotional chord progressions with evolving elements. Step into his world of nostalgia.
First up to remix "1999" is Andrés Moris, the unstoppable Córdoba (Argentina) based prog-prodigy. With releases on Hernan Cattaneo and Graziano Raffa's 'Sudbeat', GMJ and Matter's 'Meanwhile', Antrim's 'Or Two Strangers' and more, it's a sure-shot guarantee to find Andres Moris' music in almost every progressive DJ's sets. He made his debut on Juicebox Music with a personal and special 2-track EP featuring "The Story We Tell" and "The Choice", marking a massive milestone. Returning for his first remix duties on the label, Andrés Moris reinforces the nostalgia from the original while going a little darker and heavier with the mood.
Closing the pack with the final remix of "1999" is Rockka, aka Lakith Adikaram. The Sri-Lankan artist has gone from strength-to-strength ever since his first release. His range of subtle and smooth vibes to aggressive and peak-time bombs earned him releases on Juan Pablo Torrez' 'Clubsonica', Madloch's 'Sound Avenue' and Mango's 'Mango Alley' amongst many more. Rockka's first appearance on Juicebox Music came through his collaboration with Randle titled 'Lost in Akrabah', as part of the 2nd edition of our Fables compilation. He now returns with a twisted but an absolute stormer of an interpretation, holding nothing back.
