Having worked anonymously before, Helsinki’s Rizio steps out with an four tracker of futuristic and progressive techno. Skittering drums and mind bending electronics melt into cavernous industrial echoes and trance stabs, packing the whole EP with floor fillers. This music beautifully carries the original ethos of techno and electronic music, as it doesn’t settle into established notions but instead pushes forward new forms, rhythms and sound design.
