This however, is how the story starts for the talented MellowMusiQue, known to his parents as Thabang Khoza. MellowMusiQue is a self-taught music producer and a Deejay who is passionate about creating music. He fell in love with music and started creating his own songs in 2009.
Never did it cross his mind that one day he would be a successful producer of House Music. And he definitely never expected to release his own successful singles and EP's, be signed to a young dynamic company BGMP Records which is spearheaded by Godlive Masinge (DJ Gibbz) - a young and progressive entrepreneur who in his capacity brings a wealth of experience in music business and technical expertise in studio and music productions.
MellowMusiQue has collaborated with the likes of Paul B, DJ Nascent, DJ Gibbz, N Squared, Native Tribe, K'zela & Stylish DJ, Standard MusiQue Procedure, Soulful Junior, SJM Soul, Leit Motif, Massive Roots, Tour Masters, Dak Chant, Aura and DJ Sonic just to name a few.
He is influenced by artists such as Rocco, Culoe De Song, Black Coffee, Atjazz, Da Capo, Onsulade, Heavy-K, Cuebur, Price KayBee and Oskido, always keeping a close eye on the industry trends. Besides these influences, MellowMusiQue is a firm believer in pushing boundaries and developing exciting combinations of styles.
His future in the music scene is one that represents an A grade artist with international prospects and the fans should expect nothing less than the most forward thinking and high quality productions. He is still very active in making great sounds and plans on taking South African House Music to greater heights.
