The elusive and unique Frieder is truly a one of a kind. His style is as inimitable as it is recognizeable - something in between 80s synth and minimal electronica with a cheeky wink to keep the listener always wanting more.

Each track is totally unexpected - everytime you think you know what’s going to happen, he proves you wrong. And where others fill the silence with noise, he plays with space in his tracks, teasing you with carefully curated sounds and minimal drops.

The opening track Knarz is a slow burner. The intro builds into a crescendo of intensity that then resolves itself with a number of breaks and drops that play with the space in between.

Haudegen is a more melodic, with catchy, almost orchestral synth lines that quivver beautifully and harmonise in the most delicate of breaks. The beat stays punchy, bird sounds appear suddenly and then somehow everything comes to together in an unusual yet perfect blend.

The most upbeat track Raufaser starts with vocal snippets of the man himself, building into a dancy beat and gorgeous vocals intersperesed within the track. Growling bass lines and groovy minimal elements round off this sexy banger.

Modus’ deceptively subdued beginning slowly starts to signal that something is coming. And oh boy, what a recking that is - with a characteristically unpredictable build up, this track is on that sticks in your head and will keep listeners on the dance floor in their toes. It combines dark, raunchy elements with intense synths and carefully chosen sounds that over rough bass lines and beautiful chords.

Title track Dirt magically cobines interesting sounds, that impeccable groove and his synth lines to create a wonderfully light, summery track that expresses a lovely melancholy and playfulness.

Last but not least, the Belgian virtuoso Beazar, who is also a member of the band Stavroz, has delivered a remix for Dirt with that instantly recognizeable groove he is known for. The remix is a beautiful opener for the dance floor and never fails to get the crowd moving.
