L2D2 returns to the Diesel Fam for release no. 301 and a heavyweight two-tracker! First up is 'Return to Consciousness'. L2D2 hits us with solid drums and the snappiest of pitchy snares. A deep intro with atmospheric vocals drop us into an acid layered, bass-heavy whomper with lush synth pad soundscapes. On the flip is 'A Touch of Fire'. Another lovely snappy snare drives the drums forward as L2D2 teases in some lovely synth chord progressions and another anthemic vocal sample to set the tone. Some gritty and acidic synth lines cut the mix a treat whilst L2s heavy groove and low end set the groove.
