Eight years since its inception, Sam Divine has relaunched DVINE Sounds to the world with a slew of vibrant releases, quickly establishing the independent label as one that is constantly evolving. This time the label head herself collaborates with a true pioneer of UK garage, Scott Garcia, whose influential releases shaped the garage scene, helping the genre become more than just 'A London Thing'. Fans of the genre will recognise the unmistakable sound of 'Closer Than Close', a staple of the UKG scene originally released by former Prince collaborator Rosie Gaines. This divine re-imagining synthesises the inextricably linked worlds of house and garage, allowing for an energetic, up-tempo release with an infectious bassline.
