We first met Seek-One on a fateful Tuesday about a year ago. It was a road trip sort of situation and everyone was mad at Nate because he popped a tire trying to get to a Taco Bell that no one else wanted to go to. Seek-One showed us the night (movement might be a better word) he's spent years building, and we had an amazing time. The hotel we got had construction in the room next door to us at 7 am but on the bright side we got these killer demos a few months later.

'Werk' is a simple reminder of the 9 to 5 hustle and of those moments on the dancefloor where you have a simple job to do. Clock in and get to it.


'Let's Get Weird' is a sharp cut, with precision percussion and palpitating pads laid over downright delectable low end hits. The vocal is taken from an interview with someone we've all admired for a long time who also has a penchant for the moments on the dancefloor where you forget what the music is telling you to do and start listening to the possibilities of what it's merely suggesting.
