The Ltd series reaches another milestone with the 10th release on the imprint. Off course a special release will suit this special occasion. The label is further broadening the soundscope with Deventer (NL) resident Ferdi Blankena. This new cat on the block will not only have his debutrelease on Wolfskuil, but this will be his first ever release!
Ferdi’s music got send to us through a mutual friend and his take on (deep) house, disco en electronic music was so original, fresh and energetic, that we had to seize this opportunity and sign him on the spot. On the vinyl you will find: Langkawi, wich sounds as warm and exotic as the island it’s named after. On the flip there’s Mother’s Son, a highly original and very catchy Nu Disco track with vocals and guitars paving the way for a summersmash. Seance is without a doubt the deepest one of the bunch, build around a vocal sample and percussion wich sounds like it’s recorded in another realm.
