The eclectic musical project Fuzoku is back on track with another solid release 'Exotica' inspired by the early / mid-90s techno scene that was overtaking the world - from Detroit to Manchester, from Tokyo to Berlin. you know what we mean.
Nick Sabev (founding member) describes the original track composition as an 'esoteric & transcendental piece that brings me back to the early rave & techno events taking place at alluring venues such as the Packard Automotive Plant in Detroit - what a journey this release has been - what an honour to have all these legendary Japanese artists on remix duties - I feel blessed and grateful.'
On those remix duties, we have five of the most influential Japanese artists of all time - the 'Techno God' Ken Ishii (Plus 8, R & S Records), Hiroshi Watanabe (Transmat, Kompact), Satoshi Fumi (Bedrock, The Soundgarden), Hideo Kobayashi (Fuente Music, Apt. International) & Yuuki Hori (Hypnotic Room, Plus Records).
