The first release in Void+1's "Data" series, "Primordial Instinct" by the Italian duo, Dynamic Forces, is a set of 4 tracks that sound like a glorious rebirth of what seems to be a long-forgotten style of techno molded it into a futuristic form. It is not a small feat to achieve the balance of nostalgia and futurism, but this EP with its semi-broken beats, mysterious, eerie and industrial aesthetics executes it flawlessly. Be it as Dynamic Forces, their previous moniker "BR1002" or the recent collab with the mighty Exium, Bruno Ruggieri & Bruno Di Berardino have proven that they have not only managed to revive this sound successfully, but perfect it and make it their own.
