Ever since he won a DJ-contest in his hometown in Sweden by mixing gameboy music with drum n bass, Per Hammar has developed as an underground DJ/Producer with a distinctive style that covers all shades between techno and house. After playing a gig at the Amsterdam Dance Event in 2008, Per Hammar stormed the international dance scene. Next to his highly energetic DJ-performances all over the world, Per Hammar is known for his effort to bring the dance scene in southern Sweden to another level. We are very excited with Per Hammars first release ever on Intacto Records. The 8-Track EP has a distinct New York house sound. 8-TRACK: 8-Track recording technology may be of years long past, this track certainly is not. The up tempo bassline sets a fast pace for a classic New York house track with a modern flip. The beat is sublimely mixed with the gracious synthesizer melodies, which run through the track ever so slick. Per Hammar shows he truly understands the past, present and future of dance music.
