Blur Records returns to present the Canadian prolific DJ and Producer Mathew Ferness and the South African wunderkind G-Nice, who deliver a superb EP entitled "Together Apart" with two distinct, fresh and stunning tracks featuring an exclusive remix of each other's work.

The first track "The Missing Channel" is a patchwork of lofi and melodic moods, bouncing along a rolling bassline and artfully picked chord work, with a pitch-down vocal and filtered FXs bringing it all together.

The second one is the first remix by G-Nice of "The Missing Channel", a remarkable reinterpretation of the original, with its quirky groove, rich drums and evolving textures. Crafty, contagious, exquisitely remixed.

The third one entitled "Let's Fly" is the original creation of G-Nice, a seductively hypnotic driving beat floating with a grinding sub-bass and stripped-back percussion, filled with eccentric strings and complex chords.

To close the release we have the Mathew Ferness remix of "Let's Fly", a rolling and percussive groove machine, with a growling disengaged bassline and infectious melody that while staying faithful to the original, showcases a menacing twist.
