Brand new label Delayed Audio kicks off with a superb multi artist EP featuring tracks from Chamboche, Session9 and Last Mood.
Delayed Audio is a brand new label from Brighton that is set to release quality deep, electronic music from new and established artists. The imprint is co-owned by Richard Harmer, the man behind the highly promising Black Key Records that has created quite a stir over the last year with it’s unique take on deep house music, and Paul Budd, the man behind The Unity Agency & Disco Deviant.
Selected DJ feedback:
Jimpster – Superstition works a treat. Lovely sparse groove with bags of funk
Matt Tolfrey – Ambient Clutter is tasty here
PBR Streetgang – Chamboche – doing it! All round great EP
Huxley – Chamboche for me!
Ethyl – Chamboche showing his diversity here – really good stuff.
Waifs & Strays – The Session9/Ejeca cut is the one for me
Catz n’ Dogz – Really good stuff!
Severino Panzetta – Anodyne is cool...Superstition too
Additional DJ Support:
MANDY / Terry Francis / Ben Pistor / Ashley Beedle / Richy Ahmed / Craig Smith (6 Borough Project)
Selected Press:
Mixmag (UK)
Coming from the man who brought us the brilliant Black Key Records, Richard Harmer, we have a fledgling label from Brighton. They hit the ground running with this ep that will appeal to fans of Disclosure, Mia Dora and BareSkin. With their take on the deep house sound they are fusing beats, bass and garage to produce intelligent electronica. First up we have Chamboche who is normally know for his disco tinged house, but here we find him in broken beat house mode. Session9 turn in a more 4/4 track, with a stunning remix by Ejeca! Finishing off a quality debut ep we have Last Mood with a low riding techy groove. Definitely a new label to watch. 8/10
