Vessel is the latest release from the genre-hopping creator, William Florelle in collaboration with Groovence, the esteemed French label that houses Cody Currie, Moonee, Kassian, Tour Maubourg, Kevin Over, and more on its repertoire.
The release explores a new flavour of deep house/broken beat-infused dance music. Both tracks are led by the voice of William Florelle and Vessel (Side to Side), features the entrancing spoken word of Shama Joseph.
In form with the theme of William Florelle's lyricism, Vessel is a call to express and be oneself, especially on the dance floor - '(you've) got all the answers, don't hide yourself, don't hide your bubble'. Sometimes, on the other hand, is pensive, flowing in unison with it's wound-down but very vibey beat.
On remix duties, friend and collaborator, Beringei, joins to provide an interpretation of Vessel. Rethinking the chords and flipping the beat, Roy Vision joins to remix Sometimes.
