The word "Nilotic" denotes belonging to a family of languages spoken in Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, and Tanzania. The western group includes Luo and Dinka; the eastern group includes Maasai and Turkana. Why "Nilotic" you may ask... Well the song has the maasai people singing in the background and its more of a Tribal song than a deep Afro-tech. So it turns out the tribe originated from the northern part of the Nile river, hence "Nilotic".
