Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search make their first appearance on Par Grindvik's Stockholm LTD label with their 'Rhetorica EP'. The pair have been working together since their debut collaborative release on Music Man's sublabel, ION, in 2004. Since then they have released on Figure, Smallville, Traut, Balans and their own imprint A&S. They also produce together under the 'Counterpart' guise and have EPs on Jeff Mill's 6277, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up and The Advents' Kombination Research under their belt.

The 'Rhetorica EP' is a lesson in deep, patient and hypnotic sounds. 'Divisio' utilises dubbed out delays as they work the percussion into gentle builds and breaks in a subtle but effective manner. 'Partitio' steps towards the darker tones the duo are known for with a relentless rhythm underpinning celestial Sci-Fi bleeps and bells. Both originals carry warm analogue sounds and were recorded in one take giving them a continuously evolving, organic feel.

Jonas Kopp interpreted both the originals into a version of his own. His straight-tothe-point releases on the likes of Curle, Traut, Deeply Rooted House and Stroboscopic Artefacts garnered a lot of attention over the last couple of years, allowing him to become one of South America's most respected techno artists. Jonas' remix is full of drive and energy, something he brings to all his works.

'Rhetorica EP' is a rounded EP that works both in home and club, and will undoubtedly prick the ears of the techno fraternity.
