Following their highly acclaimed 'Alpha ep', released on Pfirter's MindTrip record label in 2020, Pfirter and Oliver are now taking the concept one step further on to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD record label.
If Alpha was all about loopy old school sounding techno, 'Beta' is taking a deeper approach without reducing the raw energy that the two producers are known for.
Oliver and Pfirter have spent the last few years honing a unique writing process.
The process itself is very simple, as the pair explains:
- Most tracks start with that Oliver’ recording ‘live takes’ with his machines, then passing these recordings to Pfirter who is in charge of the mixing and arrangement.
“So far we haven't done many retakes or even had to revisit the tracks more than a few times” says Pfirter.
