Fresh on the scene, german duo Propellar drops a pure wonder on Family Piknik Music. Electronic live act based in Berlin, being rooted between techno, disco and indie pop, Propellar's studio productions and live performances combine chunky beats with washed out vocals and reverb-soaked guitars. Here they drop 'Come Around', a subtle deep-house gem with hypnotic and organic elements, balanced between deep grooves and breakbeats. On the remixes, we have Israeli talent Kadosh adding bass and subtle percs to offer a melodic deep-house rework, while south African Diamond Dealer, regularly played by Black Coffee, goes into an afro-deep odyssey with sweet chords and dub approach. Last is Family Piknik's regular stalwart Mood Gorning, reworking the orignal with a dreamy synth hook and catchy gimmicks over a solid groove.
A solid package with plenty of summer vibes inside.
