The story of We Are IE, and it's status as one of the original 1991, Amen-driven, proto jungle building blocks, has been told many times before.

It last got a re-fresh / re-release in 2008 (we got a pre-bro step Caspa & Rusko remix done for Y4K at the time - sounds decent now tbf), and it feels like a new generation might be ready for an outing.

The original is here in all its future shaping glory : dark, funky and foundational, complete with 2022 remaster from Berlin don Lopazz.

Ignoring any genre demarcation, (Ed) Solo drops his tempos, and firms up with (Rowan) Blades for their big room 137bpm 'Yellow Cali' roller, keeping the original spirit in place, as a fat, stepping bassline and big breaks do the work.

Denham Audio's partner in crime Borai takes no prisoners, as his self explanatory 'Brizzle Bassline' mix hits the 4/4s hard, before up and comer Filter Dread completes another bit of the continuum jigsaw via a heavy / heavily chopped up drum and bass take, with shades of 94/95' early days all over it.
