Berlin-based producer Ignez makes his first full length appearance away from his own respected Somov Records stable, bringing his well-crafted blend of organic minimal techno to SK_eleven with the “Anahata EP”. The EP builds on the strong momentum gained over the five self-releases since 2020, leading first with the urgent, trance-inducing ‘Sahasrara’ that builds steadily over a rolling groove littered with natural sound fragments, whilst ‘Motion’ drives forward and explores the spaces in between. The tense ‘Anahata’ is more menacing in its intent, letting off vicious synth swipes amidst tight, shuffling percussion whereas ‘Kaag X’ runs into the red with its muscular groove, cavernous sub-bass and raw, overdriven handclaps.
