We are delighted to welcome label-owner Rupert Ellis back to Circa Groove with his first solo EP 'Pilgrimage to Paradise'. CGR007 showcases Rupert's harder-hitting production techniques that become slightly more twisted as the EP progresses, whilst managing to maintain its high energy. The EP is a reminder of Rupert's diversity as an artist - it's reminiscent of 90s house vibes whilst, at the same time, oozing with high-energy drops accompanied by playful round basslines. Heading up the A1 with Don't Stop!, Rupert lays down his distinctive sound in this number with hard-hitting drum lines draped with ethereal leads, the melody is adorned with machinery-like textures which make for a high energy peak time slammer. It's no surprise that Rupert's productions have seen him sought after under labels such as Daydream France, Winder, and Blind Vision Records and this follows suit as another quality release.

A2. Gamespeak
Dark, pensive, and full of energy this track takes the listener through a heavy rhythmic workout, it carries wobbling groves and delicate synth lines that float around the slamming percussion. The track flirts with a heavy 90s house but remains as fresh sounding as ever.

B1. Trip 2 Fantasy
Tropical but not. This number shows the listener hints of lightness but continues to walk a tightrope between this and pure electric deepness. From peak time to after-hours this one is an absolute nailed-on crowd pleaser.

B2. Don't Stop! (Liquid Earth Remix)
Hailing from LA the already iconic Liquid Earth joins the Circa Groove release roster with a track that is an amalgamation of intricate sound design creating rolling and bubbling basslines and breaks as heavy as you'll find. This esteemed producer has racked up releases on some hugely renowned labels such as Butter Side Up and Kalahari Oyster Cult and now joins Circa Groove with one that is going to move dance-floors in a very serious way.
