After his last challenge, the « SELFMADE » project along with the acclaimed "Waves" single, LeMarquis is coming back with fresh new sounds gathered in a hybrid dance/pop EP, a tribute to his first dance music influences, especially french touch and more widely house music.

The name « ORIGIN » refers to the path of LeMarquis going back to to his first musical roots, leading the listener through a variety of different styles, going from the futuristic « FLOW », led by an hypnotizing arp-synth from beginning to end on an uptempo beat, the indie house « NOTHING TO HIDE », a smooth progressive track you can listen during a long road trip or in the sun laying on the warm sand, to the club oriented pop song « THE THRILL » in which the singer/producer give us an ode to woman, depicting the seduction mind-game happening between a « femme fatale » and all of her pretenders, layered by a 90s west coast inspired lead synth, sliding on a groovy house beat.

In this EP, the french producer is giving back a fresh vibe to the music that’s been raising his musical taste and inspiration, paying homage and including nods to his favorite musicians and producers.

Under The Light is a disco oriented track, led by a groovy bass line and a funky guitar, designed to fill up the dance floor. With a sunny vibe and a catchy chorus, this song treats about a late night encounter between two protagonists, one is seduced by the look of a woman in a club, trying to find ways and words to bring her on the dance floor, making her his partner. Both end up getting in a seduction play, surrounded by the raised hands of the crowd, dancing under the sparkling mirrorball.
