Making his return to Nang is the Barcelona based artist Ivan Fabra. After releasing his fantastic 'Different Worlds' single last year, it is a pleasure to release this fresh batch of tracks straight out the oven.

Ivan began his professional music career in 1994 in the Barcelona & Valencia underground scene, later to release his debut on Cosmos Records in back in 1999. Since then he has been carving out his distinct Italo, Nu Disco Cosmic Disco-Funk and Balearic sounds. He combines minimal groove sounds and 80s synths with the pure physical energy of club and dance floor sounds in his productions.

The release sets sail with 'Planet Disco'. As you would expect there are some seriously cosmic synth lines and sound effects that whisk you away to distant galaxies. The thick square wave bassline bounces up and down in between the classy disco style drums. Alternating oscillator melodies morph though different octaves as the track progresses.

Following on from this on a slightly different note, we have 'Enceladus'. This cool laidback break beat track falls heavy on the 80's style gated snare. Sweeping pads combined with delayed piano and a funky bass line keeps things coasting along.

Finally we conclude the release with a heavy number entitled 'Bounce Arp'. The thick modulating bass lines keep the whole track rolling on wards. As the title suggests, there are powerful synth arpeggios that uplift and make this track stand out. Drum rolls and cowbell percussion give it that extra boost of energy.
