Belgian DJ, producer Rodrigo Ferran debuts on Zolex Records with, Spike. Under his alter ego – Kosmik, he played at almost every club in Belgium, including Illusion, Boccaccio, Cherry Moon, H2O and more as well as a lot of festivals like Beachland and Suikerrock to name a few. After a 2-week vacation in Ibiza in 2014, he started to get really passionate about the Techno and Tech House scene on the island. When returned home he decided to listen a lot to this style of music and he really got overwhelmed by the dark and powerful sounds. After a while and a whole lot of exploring, he found what he was looking for, dark and banging but with a touch of emotion and sometimes even with a progressive impulse. His releases have received some great comments and he enjoys a lot of support from around the world. For the moment he’s also working hard in the studio to finish up a lot of tracks and he's working hard to manage his label MTZ Noir Records.

The release opens with the title track - Spike, a dark, undulating techno groover. Powerful beats drive as a pulsating bassline hypnotises the mind. Industrial level FX build as chilling sequences unfold. Raw, unadulterated cinematic moments are captured in the quality production, resulting in a no-holds-barred techno joint to blow your mind. Occult rounds out the release, keeping with the dark theme, and even going one step further. Big, arena style kicks and sharp, crispy percussions sit on a bed of murky FX and a rumbling bassline. Mesmerizing sequences invade your brain as the tension builds, leaving you in a full-on frenzied state. Just the tonic to spice up those sweaty, dark rooms.
