Patricia Gurband starts her journey through shape shifting universes on her debut for Hardest Soft, with three different but equally impressive tracks. This EP flirts with the soundscapes of the latter oscillating between lush ambient soundscapes and sleek techno atmosphere where astral pads and heavenly vocal coos make for a cinematic sound that will cast a real spell on the crowd. Each track glides between melodic, percussive and acidic sections with ease, keeping interest high without ever dropping into locked techno loops. Meanwhile Rael's remix maintains that light and dark sensibility that has become such a staple of his productions, simultaneously taking us from moments of sweaty intenseness to moments of blissed-out ecstasy.
