Circulation continues to reassert himself with a fourth fantastic EP on his own Recirculate label.

Since his recent comeback, UK electronic artist Paul Davis has recaptured the exceptional form that made him such a pioneer back in the nineties. Working as Circulation with then Matt Jackson, he put out 45 well-regarded EPs and toured the world's best venues. After a long time away, he reconnected with music last year and has since put out a number of essential new EPs. Each one shows an advancement in skill and musical maturity and this latest offering does so once more.

First up is the frosty dub techno of 'Amalfi.' The lumpy drums and grinding bass roll heavy beneath celestial chords and icy hi hats. It's a mid-tempo groove that firmly locks you in. 'Quattro' is a nine minute cosmic trip that shows off Circulation's knack for starry-eyed melodies and far-sighted grooves that have you gazing off to infinity. It's a cinematic track with lush ambient design and an expansive sense of atmosphere. Last of all comes 'Side Chain,' a darker track with grittier textures and haunting synth modulations off in the distance. This eerie deep techno roller is perfect for those spaced out late night hours on the dance floor.

Recirculate 4 is another stylish evolution of the essential Circulation sound.
