Deemed as one of the key producers who have successfully bridged the gap between texture-rich minimal sound and modern-day deep and progressive music, Hungarian soundsmith Adam Byrd makes his debut on Cromarti Records with the release, Sweet Dreams! For remixing duties, Cromarti Records has selected three fine producers whose sound will definitely complement that of the Adams: Americas Randall Jones, Britains Andy Mowat, and Canadas Adel Ghandour aka. Big Al. Sweet Dreams the original mix, is a melting pot of the different aspects of Adam Byrd's sound. Rich atmosphere on the background, accompanied by snappy percussion and heavy kick drums, is the backbone of the Sweet Dreams While a sunset-on-the-terrace appeal sets afloat from the mind-levitating strings, Balearic guitars, and of course, that soul-tingling sax! In the hands of Randall Jones, 'Sweet Dreams' transforms into a clubby track with a straightforward groove that brings back some classic Chicago house vibes, guided by pianos, and a solid bassline. Andy Mowat's remix, moreover, starts-off with a more playful interplay of heavy bass and soulful keys, but greets its listeners with a gravity-defying breakdown. Last but definitely not the least is the Canadian producer who owns quite a number of record labels, Big Al with his remix best described as the hushed down reinterpretation of the original, built on his trademark crisp, snappy percussion, resonating atmosphere, and that irresistible groove!
