A well-traveled artist, Miganova takes us to distant places through sound. Starting off, the Tulum-based Italian DJ/Producer captures the mystical essence of 'Cobá' in the title track. A balanced, groovy concoction of deep percussive elements and mesmerizing synths that hit even more profoundly with robust whiffs of bass and fetching rhythms.
Complementing Cobá, is a new way of seeing (and feeling) Mondays. 'Monday Afternoon' is an idyllic mental escape from the post- weekend demise. Ingeniously marrying Afro and house elements with stark electronic cadences, this 6:00 minute voyage is trippy and seductive, haunting and soothing all at once.
