For our eighth release, we are glad to welcome back our dear friend Vardae for a second EP on the
label. His first output on 2019 had been received really well, so he decides to took the things further
with this new one, presenting a more textural techno approach while keeping his own signature of
raw and minimalist precise techno.

This EP was mainly inspired by paintings of Pierre Soulage called 'composition de rouge et de noir'.
What we feel when listening to the release is the continuity between the tracks, especially the first
three. We could consider them as different layers of the same composition. They feature the key
elements of what we want to promote with the label, cycling alien atmospheres, granular textures
and raw beats with a clearly identified sci-fi touch. The last track shows us a different sound palette
from Vardae with a more melodic approach, dominated by gentle pads but still keeping some voices
atmospheres in the background.
