In “Ciphers”, each of the three tracks speaks its own language, giving different unusual vibes, from the oddly perfect fit between minimal and garage of ‘Affine Cipher’, to the lysergic, glitched, microhouse of ‘Polybius Square’, and the soothing neat house groove of ‘Hieroglyphics’.

Jo.an manages to draw here a strong stylistic fil rouge throughout the EP, shaping a next-level flexible yet specific style of futuristic, cutting-edge, house.
