For our 16th Release we welcome the musical extraordinaire, Dutchican Soul to the label, a collaboration with Australian vocalist, Chad Trent. No stranger to the charts, DS has had releases and remixes on Salted Music, OM, Purple Music, Strictly Rhythm, Diamond House and many others. Where a lot of artists move on and experiment, DS has always remained true to his roots and has always released quality music with soul. A perfect fit for RSR!
The Original mix of "Deny" has a smooth R'n'B vibe with lush chords and synth licks that take you on a journey perfect for any summer evening. Chad's vocal lifts effortlessly and works in perfect harmony with the clean beats and simple groove laid down by DS. This is a must for any soulful house DJ set.
Label owners Yogi & Husky add a slightly more electronic edge to the vocal and pick up the tempo with a Random Soul remix, aimed at a more peak time slot. Utilizing a combination of building arps, pads and synth stabs, the energy lifts with the vocal to create a rocking club hit.
Another Dutchman, D-Reflection steps up and shows he is not to be overlooked as a soulful maestro himself, with 3 cracking and diverse remixes of "Deny". His 'House Mix' offers a hip-shakin groove with deep chords and a jamming sax riff from Saxy Mr S. All in all, it's an elegant mix of instruments and vocal that glues this remix together and helps to make it an instant classic.
The 'Lounge Mix' and 'UKG Radio Edit' add perfect balance and color to this EP by offering a little something different for those who don't mind mixing it up in their sets a little. These are not to be missed!
Enjoy the music, and we encourage you to support it in your charts and mixes!
