Here at Cueca Recordings, we have decided enough is enough and it's time to start pushing on through with business as usual. April 2021 will mark our eighth official release and we could not be more excited to bring the music back into all our lives once again.

CUE008 will be coming to us from Canadian recording artist Veev. Cueca has had the honor of having Veev on CUE003 with his original release of 'Mesmerized' which featured a smashing remix from legendary Canadian house music artist Nick Holder in 2018. This year alone Veev has already appeared on King Street's Nite Grooves, and also Jeff Craven's Large Music out of the Windy City of Chicago. Skies the limit when it comes to the reach of Veev's music and dedicated passion and talents, we are thrilled to keep this one close to home and to keep it Canada.

'Do What You Do' is a two-track single release that features an original mix, along with a deeper remix done by Veev himself. The original expression is a mature take on that old-school vibe and is one that encompasses exactly what true house music is all about. Haunting beautiful vocal chops set the tone, while the baseline pushes the whole production forward to dreamland. Swelling pads and a French house stab bring it all full circle to what is one of our favorite Cueca releases to date, simply perfect.

'Veev's Deep Mix' only highlights even further the already immaculate original expression and makes for a more elongated feeling of smooth peak time house music for the soul and mind. Nothing but beautiful vibes on this one and we could not be more ready to have Veev back once again for his second Cueca release.
