Album Only
JUN013 | 2021-04-30
Jun Kamoda's 2nd album “II” has arrived. He has released his tracks from Mister Saturday Night Records or Black Acre or Steel City Dance Discs. His carefree attitude to genre conventions and sampling has made for unique listening in recent years, something heavily informed by his past as leftfield hip hop act MC Illreme.

These comments below about “II” are from Jun.
“When I made a track called “Ruddy Sunset” which is contained in my first album “Jun Kamoda”, I got new work process with it. The work process was like this, at first I made a track as usual house bpm 120 to 128. And then I edited short version and pitched down bpm 80 to 110 in a ableton Live.
I am obsessed this work process. I felt like that I finally described my soul in the tracks. So I worked on any tracks with this work process. These bpm 80 to 110 seem to make sense with my past as hip hop producer too.
Also, I bought cassette tape deck “Technics RS-615U” which has great warm sounds. I recorded all tracks in a tape through this. I still work any music with this pitched down work process and this cassette tape deck.Because I love the both of them.
