Produced by Southern California based multidisciplinary audio visual artist Jason Harvey, also known as Vocoded. Harvey's work explores the intersections of analog and digital resulting in a paired down aesthetic of distorted imagery and natural rhythmic feedback loops. Jason continues in a lineage of pioneers of analog motion graphics and early experimental video artists. And combines this with his history of DJing and music production influenced by his early years in the Southern California 90s rave renaissance. The unique audio visual synthesis Vocoded presents both a taste of the past and flavour of the future. Notable electronics used in the studio: Fairlight CVI, Abekas ME, Sony DME, LZX Modular and Symbolic Sound Pacarana/Kyma.
