London's creative powerhouse squareglass is pleased to present JL Segal's debut EP, titled SKIN - a collection of 4 hypnotic and intricately produced ambient pieces that hold high expectations for this visionary, new artist. Real name Rotem Haguel, the live-musician-turned-composer and art-school graduate, who is a frequent collaborator of acts like Lapsley and experimental
producer Stubbleman, uses analogue synthesisers and dance music-inspired production to explore notions of tactility through sound. The resulting body of work is conceptual and well-rounded, calling to mind an array of influences such as Floating Points, Plaid, Rival Consoles and Catarina Barbieri. The EP is released alongside a set of accompanying, linoleum printing-based visuals, making this affecting new offering one to get completely immersed in.
