The Berlin-based event series PACE has matured into a record label and is coming up with their first release, a compilation of groovy and fast dancefloor tools. The VA includes tracks of PACE residents and good friends of the label, featuring TWR72, VIL, Versho, Seld, AINT.S and LHVB.
The release starts of with TWR72's hypnotic and driving track "Oasis", a precise and direct weapon for every dancefloor. VIL continues the ride with his contribution "Moderna", including groovy and rhythmic percussion, a crispy ever evolving bassline and a mystic synth pad that will make sure to keep the crowd moving. Versho's "Collective2020" breaks up the 4-to-the-floor rhythm with a forceful and heavy breakbeat track that has a very rough and sharp analog feel to it. Seld delivers a straight and punchy techno tool with his track "Move", the chopped and distorted vocals shine through the linear but unexpected arrangement. AINT.S introduces himself with a more experimental but powerful breakbeat, the track "250" is a trippy and evolving journey, leading to an intense breakdown, that leaves no questions unanswered. The last track of the VA is LHVB's "Four", that brings the release back to its roots with its organic and striking rhythm, which developes into a driving percussion-heavy groove in the second half of the piece.
