PunkPhunk returns to the label with the sensational ‘Far From OK EP’. Remix support comes from Ant LaRock.

After a coronavirus imposed hiatus, label head PunkPhunk follows up on the incredible Pyramid Scheme EP with more West coast jackin’ vibes. Ant LaRock has flourished this year with releases on Simma Black, Milk & Sugar and more.

Opening with his trademark bumpty grooves, ‘No Caller ID’ springs into life from the first bar. A fan of wonky samples, PunkPhunk incorporates answering phones messages, FX and stabs to great effect. On the remix, Ant LaRock opts to overdrive the drums and smooth out the groove adding his own warehouse stamp to proceedings.
