The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Cream to the label for his debut single. Renowned for his collaborative project with fellow countryman Deep Fog, the Jaroslaw resident has compiled an impressive resume highlighted by releases on JOOF Recordings and Proton Music. 2019 saw Cream with a rare solo production, contributing a track to the Perspectives Digital 'Around The World' Various Artists EP Sampler. Now presenting his first project of 2020 Cream lands on Dopamine White with 'Illusion' alongside remixes from Chris Zag and No-No and Nobilis.

Beginning with the original mix Cream explores a sleek emotive narrative. Its warm, fluid groove is perfectly contoured, adorned with finely tuned percussion, liquid-like rhythms and hopeful shades and tones. Energetic yet soothing, charming overlays add depth and scope while fragmented melodies gently descend as the main break begins to takes shape. Impassioned chord changes flow through the low end while a bubbly arp bounces above, moving through tasteful modulation before shifting energy into a glowing finale.

The first interpretation of ‘Illusion' is provided by Chris Zag who is making his first appearance on Dopamine Music. The Greek artist has worked as AandR for parent label Dopamine Music since its 2012 inception. A remix of ‘Remain Strong' by Simos Tagias in February of 2016 marked Chris' first official release and it did not go unnoticed, receiving live play from Armin Van Buuren at A State of Trance 750 in Utrecht, Netherlands. 2017 then yielded a well received remix for Nikko Z via Tash's Movement Recordings. Now following a three-year hiatus, Chris returns with an inspired take on 'Illusion'. Adding more of a percussive vibe, Chris reprocesses the main elements into a storyboard that is both free flowing and heartfelt. An expansive interlude highlights the piece, complete with radiant artefacts and bassy rumblings, before elegantly opening up into a charming final act.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Illusion' is No-No and Nobilis. Based in France and Argentina respectively, the duo have collaborated in the past, delivering a track for Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' Balance compilation in 2019. Now looking to build on that studio synergy the duo unites once again with a stunning rendition of 'Illusion'. The cross-continental duo crafts a great compliment to the previous versions while still sitting firmly in pure progressive territory. Its drive quickly becomes infectious, propelled by percussive cadence, tranquil arps and sweeping effects. Playful melodies rise into the main break, elevating mood and scope before clattering percussion and low-end swells unite for a powerful segue into a driving finale. A gorgeous remix from No-No and Nobilis which caps off another essential release for Nikko.Z's Dopamine White. Don't miss it.
