One of our favorite producers, Deepologic, is back for Dubwise #45 with two new originals coupled to superb remixes. “Square” pushes on through the dancefloor slowly building on variable pads before unfurling its cinematic and symphonic overtones. The Funtom Remix utilizes a fresh melodic bassline and vocal refrain while reiterating the original’s pulses and phrase lines. The second original track, “Circles”, takes a darker spacious techno-jazz vibe with its sonorous synths and trumpet solos. The Oversound Remix recapitulates the main elements of its predecessor with additional aural accentuations and percussive edges.
