The next release on Swerve Digital comes by way of label founder Lee Pearce. A promising two-track release, 'Afternoon Snack' sees Lee return to the imprint emphatically - tipping a hat to the new, deeper label direction.

Opening the release, the title track features a refreshing looseness. Enriched Deep Tech with bright melodics and swinging rhythm throughout make for easy listening. Expansive breaks and bridges are filled with soft synths, atmospheric FX and a sultry female vocal hook, adding a layer of subtle class and smoothness to an already velvety record.

'Came to Chill' has a distinct Miami feel to it. Uptempo House, with an emphasis on laid-back groove - complemented by layered synths and bright pads. Another fine display of creating energy in the transitional stages of the track, with reverb and rises bubbling up into welcomed drops - throwing you right back into the groove.
