Born To Funk returns to the Copyright Recordings imprint for a second outing after the highly successful tribal edged ‘Stonetown EP’. The two track ‘La Scoica EP’ is inspired by this producers travels and weaves the delicate notes of Asia, Europe and Africa deeply into the music. Kenya is inspired the sights and sounds of Lake Naivasha in the Kenyan Rift valley, the sounds of exotic wildlife and African celebration, whilst ‘La Scoica’ fuses the deeply hypnotic energy of Slavic singing with more of the African elements for which Born To Funk is most recognised.
