After taking a rather long hiatus, the pair are celebrating their return with a sensational release that is very reminiscent of their past work. We have not heard from the duo since their EP 'MAO' produced in 2012, on which was featured an incredible remix by DASO, a phenomenal artist that was taken from us too soon but will always be remembered. An incredible piece of work that has left music fans from all over desiring more, and now their hunger is finally going to get satiated. It emanates a clear synchronicity, as a duo they are determined and almost single-minded but what makes this partnership so magical are their musical differences. This contrast really shines through and is what makes the duo completely irresistible.
The duo's undeniable chemistry really shines through on 'Another Line'. This track resounds a larger than life beat, supported by some very heavy basslines. These dense melodies are juxtaposed with the incredible and subtle singing style of Marie Lenoir. The EP will feature a list of remixes done by a few notable underground music heavyweights. Up first is Haze-M, whose remix further enriches the already dominant and enthralling original track. He takes it down a more progressive house route with a few bold bombshells layered into the track to surprise listeners, including a nice break that will have you throwing your arms in the air with complete glee..
We also have the honour of having on this EP a remix by Thodoris Triantafillou. At the label we refer to him as a Greek God, and you will certainly understand why after you have listened to his remix. He raises revellers on a musical journey with momentous layers of ostentatious sounds and arpeggiators. An even stronger rendition of 'Another Line', it is a striking remix that will make you feel as though you are preparing for an epic battle. Thodoris Triantafillou delivers a heightened experience of the original track from which you will never want to come down from.
The EP ends on an exhilarating note with Just Her. An honour to have this brilliant artist on the label's second EP. She conveys an inimitable finesse, passion and a groove you will wish never ends. We could not have asked for a better way to complete the EP. A remix so astounding, that rounds off this release effortlessly and tops the undeniable power behind each track, making this album altogether a force to be reckoned with.
