Firing out with title track '19 eighty 8' on the A-side, where their clinical house grooves offer a rolling backdrop for a gigantic bassline, effective vocal sampling and nostalgic 90's pianos bringing pure joy throughout. 'Unfinished Disco' is the duo's topflight re-edit roller. Fusing typical deep-house grooves with precision sample chops that roll with a bouncing synth bassline underneath. Floating vocal pads and anthemic piano riffs drive this whopping party monster down a very groovy path.
The duo collaborates with Ben Bromley (aka Ikon-B) for two tracks under the Gordon Bennett pseudonym. 'Electrohuman' is a breakbeat fuelled ride with lush, analog synth pads and robotic vocal samples. The trio inject some nostalgic touches with dubby string hits and cascading arpeggios. Alongside that, they offer 'My Pleasure', a rolling, tech-edged track with superbly sampled vocals, synth chord work and an irresistible, rolling baseline that fills the floor with its subby undertones.
