The Deadstock 33s - UK club legend Justin Robertson of Lionrock and Revtone fame, former Hacienda resident and producer of countless records over they years - combines forces with Stopmakingme - the Fabric/Kill Em All resident and Bugged Out! regular with recent productions on Bang Gang, Moshi Moshi and Codek - for On Rushmore and As You Are. This marks their third collaboratory release, after an EP on Tigersushi and single on Gomma.
The B-side consists of two reinterpretations. First up is Tiago with a remix of On Rushmore. He is widely respected as one of the best DJs in Portugal as a Lux Club resident and also as a producer, having released on labels such as DFA, Italians Do It Better, ESP, Skylax, Claremont56, Hands Of Time and more.
Lastly, ZNTN himself provides a hardware focused cover version of As You Are, the HTOHL boss hoping to bring out some of the ideas behind the label. He has also released on the AstroLab, Clouded Vision and Little Poppet imprints.
The release will be available on limited white 12'' vinyl with label artwork and branding by Alex Egan, who also happens to be behind the Skull Juice and Astronomer projects as well as an upcoming EP as The Draughtsman on Marketing.
